Project Bid Manager

Shanix Technology Inc. is expanding its business and we are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our team.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce labor and material estimates for RFQ’s & the Shanix Sales team
  • Produce advanced designs (Security, CCTV, Access Control, Audio/Video)
  • Produce as-builts based off completed install documents
  • Assist sales team with technical expertise when needed
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with contractor partners
  • Maintain knowledge of current and future technologies specific to the Integrated Security industry.
  • Communicate and coordinate technical design solutions with clients and staff
  • Must track all sales activity in company CRM

 Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 3 year’s experience producing labor and material estimates for RFQ’s in the Integrated Security industry
  • Experience estimating projects with at least 2 or more of the following 4 disciplines (CCTV, Access Control, Security Systems, A/V)
  • Experience working with general contractors, electrical contractors, and architects
  • Must be able to read project plans, blueprints, and system schematic designs
  • Ability work independently and autonomously
  • High proficiency with MS tools

Account Executive: Project Sales

Integrated Security, New Business Development Executive (CCTV, Access Control, A/V, Security)

Shanix Technology Inc. is expanding its business and we are seeking experienced New Business Development Executives to join our team (Massachusetts & Rhode Island).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed new business development sales targets
  • Utilize prospecting, networking, and upselling skills in the development of new customer accounts
  • Prepare and present timely solution proposals designed to meet the customers’ needs
  • Maintain active sales funnel sufficient to support new business development targets
  • Maintain accurate documentation of proposals/sales activities in the Shanix CRM

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 year’s experience selling integrated security
    • Experience with at least 2 of the following 4 disciplines (CCTV, Access Control, Security Systems, A/V)
  • Proven history of success in outside sales/new business development (hunters)
  • Superior communications & presentation skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Must have valid driver’s license and own vehicle

Administrative Assistant / Sales Coordinator

Shanix Technology Inc., an industry leading security systems integrator is expanding its business and we are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer emails and phone calls
  • Perform data entry tasks in our company CRM
  • Prepare and present timely & accurate reports to management
  • Administrative support to the Shanix staff & management team as needed
  • Manage company project bid schedule
  • Assist the Sales Coordinator in supporting sales team as needed
  • Assist in general office matters as needed (HR, collections, etc.)

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an administrative assistant or sales coordinator
  • Proficient with MS Office tools (word, excel, email, etc.)
  • Proficient in working with CRM (Salesforce.com, HubSpot, Q360, etc.)

Appointment Scheduler

Shanix Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Appointment Scheduler to join our team.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound phone calls to existing customers and new customer prospects, scheduling appointments for our sales team
  • Enter all scheduled appointments in the company CRM
  • Confirm appointments with the customer, review and manage schedule changes and revise schedules as needed
  • Track appointment progress/success in CRM

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 year’s experience as a sales appointment scheduler or telemarketer

Electronic Security: Lead Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install and troubleshoot low voltage panels, wiring and associated devices.
  • Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
  • Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
  • Perform system testing and signal verification.
  • Maintain the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
  • Organize and utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
  • Ensure the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
  • Site Lead for installation, supervising sub-contractor work, assisting in panel termination, basic installation training, system trouble shooting and quality control activities.
  • Documentation of service and hours worked.
  • Complete and submit all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
  • On-call service rotation.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Skills & Experience):

  • Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
  • Must have five (5) or more years of relevant experience.
  • Must have experience in Access Control and IP Video systems.
  • Must have full knowledge of local and state construction codes / national electronic codes.
  • Requires proficiency in OSHA & HAZCOM Regulations.
  • Must possess strong communication/leadership skills when working with others.
  • Must have a strong work ethic.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have an ability to determine and implement resolution to complex field situations.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have an ability to lead others and manage multiple projects.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a drug screening and background screening.

A/V: Lead Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Experience with Simple#, CH#, Q-Sys, Biamp, BSS and Dante a plus

  • Must have full knowledge of local/national codes.
