Kekin Shah started his business when video surveillance systems were in their infancy in 1981. His entry into the security arena began as a technical troubleshooter for repairing installed video surveillance systems. Back in the 1980’s, there were very few local companies that provided service on these new systems. Over time, Kekin began to create relationships by becoming known as having a tremendous sense of urgency for responding to service requests along with his quality service capabilities…as these relationships grew his clients asked for him to provide new turnkey systems…mid 1990’s an audio visual division was added…Kekin did what was necessary to become a registered dealer for the major manufacturers for these products, and the rest is history!

Shanix is now considered one of the leading security and audio visual technology integrators in the New England area, servicing government, law enforcement, academic institutions, retail, banking, manufacturing, military etc.
